Cardinals takes series from Jefferson College
(3/21/22) MAC Baseball defeated Jefferson College in three of four games over the weekend. The Cardinals won the first two games 2-0 and 12-7 on Thursday. The first game being highlighted by a shutout by Brian Strange. In the concluding double header on Sunday, Mineral Area won a wild one at Jeffco 13-12 before falling in the final game 9-0. MAC is now 10-10 on the season with a 4-4 record in Region 16. The Cardinals will try to keep it rolling on Tuesday at home against Crowley's Ridge. Photo: Matt King, Daily Journal
