2025 Season Preview: Mineral Area College Cardinals Baseball

As the Mineral Area College Cardinals step onto the field for the 2025 baseball season, expectations are high with a challenging schedule ahead and a blend of experienced returners and freshman. 

The 2025 Schedule

The Cardinals' schedule for 2025 is packed with exciting matchups, beginning with a challenging series of games at Pensacola State College on January 30 and February 1.  These games will be a test for the team early in the season and will set the tone for the challenges ahead.

Throughout February, the Cardinals will face a series of tough opponents, including Southwest Mississippi CC, Milwaukee Area Technical College, North Central Missouri College and Coahoma CC.

Region 16 Play

A big test will come when the Cardinals face State Fair CC at home on February 27-28, as the team looks to start off region play on a high note.

As the calendar turns to March, Region 16 play will be in full swing as MAC takes on St. Louis CC, Metropolitan CC and preseason #10 Crowder College.

April wraps up the regular season with more key Region 16 matchups with Jefferson College, first year program Missouri State University – West Plains, rival Three River College and St. Charles CC.

Region 16 Tournament & Beyond

The ultimate goal for the Cardinals is to make a deep run in the Region 16 Tournament and earn a spot in the South Central District Tournament and ultimately the NJCAA World Series. With the right mix of pitching, defense, and timely hitting, the Cardinals have the tools necessary to make a run in May.
