The Mineral Area College Cardinals kicked off their 2025 baseball season with a strong showing on the road in Pensacola, FL, where they played a pair of games against Pensacola State College and a single game against Northwest-Shoals Community College.
Game 1: January 30, 2025 – Mineral Area College 5, Pensacola State College 1
The Cardinals' opening game was an exciting one, with a solid win over Pensacola State College. The game started slowly but quickly picked up momentum in the later innings. Pensacola State got on the board early in the first, but Mineral Area responded with a big 3-run fifth inning that ultimately put the game out of reach for the home team.
