Cardinals Drop Season Opener To #4 Pearl River

The MAC men's soccer team opened their 2022 season on Saturday, August 27, taking on #4 Pearl River CC in Fulton, MS.  In the first half, Pearl River jumped out to a 4-0 lead with goals at 4:00 and 40:00.  In the second half, the Cardinals came roaring back with goals from Jamie Murray at 55:00 and Victor Herion at 77:00.  The match remained tied until Pearl River found the back of the next in the 86^th minute to secure the win.  Ryan Garner made two saves in net for the Cardinals.

MAC will return to action on Wednesday, August 31 at East Central College to open region and conference play.  Wednesday's match is set to begin at 4:00pm.
