On Saturday, September 10, the MAC men's soccer team hosted Jefferson College for a conference matchup.  In Saturday's match, Jack Taylor found the back of the net at 8:00 to give the Cardinals an early 1-0 lead.  Jefferson answered back at 11:00 to even the score at one.  In the 12th minute, Joe Maunsell scored to give MAC a 2-1 lead, however, the Vikings again answered back at 32:00 to tie the game at two.

In the second half, Jefferson Scored three unanswered goals (77:00, 79:00, 87:00) and defeated the Cardinals by a score of 5-2.

With the loss to Jefferson, MAC moves to 2-2 overall, 2-1 in MCCAC play and 2-0 in Region 16 play.  The Cardinals will return to action on Monday, September 19 when they host East Central College for a 5:00pm start.
