Cardinals Cruise To Victory Over Northwest Iowa
The MAC men's soccer team came away with a 7-0 win over Northwest Iowa CC on Sunday, September 1 to improve to 4-1 on the young season.
From the opening whistle, the Cardinals controlled the pace of play and took a 7-0 lead into the half.
The second half saw a MAC tighten up defensively to hold on for the shutout victory.
Key Performers for MAC included:
- Kobe Bewicke: With three goals and one assist, Bewicke was undeniably the standout player of the match. His ability to find space and finish with precision was a significant factor in MAC's dominant performance.
- Orran Mushet: Mushet's two assists and continuous support in midfield played a crucial role in creating opportunities and keeping pressure on the Northeast Thunder.
- Cade Blackmon: Scoring one goal and assisting another, Blackmon's contributions were vital in maintaining the offensive momentum.

On Tuesday, MAC takes on #6 Mississippi Gulf Coast CC at 4pm before kicking off against #10 Pearl River CC on Wednesday. The Cardinals are currently 4-1 on the season and ranked #19 in the latest NJCAA D2 Men's Soccer poll.
