#13 Cardinals Defeat Jefferson 2-1

The MAC men's soccer team came way with a key 2-1 win over Jefferson College on Wednesday, October 2.  In the back-and-forth match, the Cardinals fell behind 1-0 early before Shay Carey and Orran Mushet answered to give the Cardinals a 2-1 lead and they held on for the win.  With the win over Jefferson, MAC improved to 9-3-1 overall, 3-0-1 in MCCAC play and 2-0-1 in Region 16 play.  The Cardinals will return to action on Saturday, October 5 for a key Region 16 matchup at East Central College.
