Track teams continue quest for championships

MINERAL AREA TRACK TEAMS CONTINUE NATIONAL QUALIFICATION SURGE WITH MEETS AT LINCOLN UNIVERSITY AND GREENVILLE COLLEGE.

 

 

The MAC Track & Field teams were busy the past two weekends, posting more outstanding performances at both the Lincoln University Invitational on Saturday, April 9th, and the Greenville College Select Meet on Friday, April 15th.  The two Nationally ranked squads continued to garner more National qualifiers for the NJCAA Division III Track & Field Championships in Troy, New York this May, with Kara Hovick-800 meter run, Rachel Wilson-1500 meter run, Jacob Arnold-1500 meter run, and Grant Shankle-Javelin earning honors at Lincoln, while Hunter Cary-400 meter hurdles, Kyle Vinyard-1500 meter run, and Grayson Knernschield-5,000 meter run, hit  the qualifying marks at Greenville.  Complete results for the Cardinals at both meets can be found at the following sites:

The Teams will be back at competition this Saturday, April 23rd, at the Dick Cochran Classic on the Lindenwood University Campus.
