Men's Outdoor T&F Off To Great Start, Mayes Named National Athlete of the Week
Camden Mayes named NJCAA D III National Athlete of The Week
MAC Men qualified 14 individuals in 12 different events for the National meet.
The Mineral Area College Men's Track and Field teams got the 2025 outdoor season off to a great start with competition at the Miner Invitational hosted by Missouri S & T on Friday, March 21st and Saturday March 22nd. After several good efforts during the indoor season, the Cardinals kept it up at the Rolla meet, qualifying 14 individuals for the NJCAA D III meet in Utica, New York in May. Highlighting the men's results were NJCAA D III National leading qualifying marks in the Long Jump and 110-meter hurdles by Freshman Camden Mayes, which earned him National Athlete of the Week. Freshman Sam Vaughn also produced a DIII National leading mark in the 1500-meter run. National qualifiers and their events so far this season are:
