Top Ranked Cardinals Compete At Border Wars Invitational
The MAC XC teams were up to the challenge at Principia College this past Friday, October 7th, as they competed at the Border Wars Collegiate XC Invitational. The Cardinals didn't let the tough, rolling hills course bother them at all as they turned in some impressive times for the second straight week. The NJCAA Division III Nationally top ranked Mineral Area Men's team place 3rd out of 8 schools, trailing only NCAA Division II schools Missouri S & T and Central Missouri State. National runner of the week Bradley Ahrens had another great race, placing 6th overall in a time of 25:55 on the 8k course. Devin and Nathan St. Clair also had excellent races, as did Sophomore Grayson Knernschield, coming back from a summertime injury. Complete results for the MAC runners were:
