Men's Cross Country Wins 6th Consecutive Region Championship
The 2024 Mineral Area College (MAC) men's cross country team delivered an outstanding performance at the Region 16 Division 3 Regional Championship, securing the title wover St. Charles CC. The championship is the 6th in the row for Coach Steve Davis and the running Cardinals.
Team Performance Overview
The scoring for MAC was led by an impressive display, with runners finishing in the top seven positions. The team's scoring order was as follows: 1-3-4-6-7, culminating in a total time of 2:33:14.

Individual Highlights
The star of the day was Anthony Tragesser, a freshman from MAC, who clinched the individual title with a time of 28:54.8.
Following Tragesser, MAC athletes continued to demonstrate their strength:
- Blake Dorris, also a freshman, secured third place with a time of 30:15.7.
- Garrett Shortt, another freshman, followed closely in fourth at 30:20.5.
- Rounding out the scoring for MAC, Jeb Huff and Dalton Brady finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with times of 31:39.0 and 32:04.0.
