Lady Cardinals Go 1-1 At Lady Greyhound Classic

The MAC women's basketball team recently went 1-1 in the Lady Greyhound Classic at Arkansas State Mid-South on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. 

On Friday, the Lady Cardinals took on National Park College, winning by a score of 72-55.  In Friday's win, MAC was led offensively by Audra Pasakarnis (22 points) and Lexi McCully (21 points).  Katelyn Chomko led the team in rebounds with 10.  The Lady Cardinals also got contributions from 11 total players in the win over National Park College. 

MAC took on host Arkansas State Mid-South on Saturday.  In Saturday's game against the Lady Greyhounds, the Lady Cardinals could not dig out of a 24-9 deficit after the first quarter and fell by a final score of 71-61.  Audra Pasakarnis led the way for MAC, recording her first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Lexi McCully again scored in double figures with 18 points.

The Lady Cardinals are now 3-3 on the season.  The team will return to action on Tuesday, November 15 at home against Lincoln Trail College.  Tuesday's action will get underway at 5:00pm.
