Lady Cardinals Get Region Win Over Jefferson

The MAC women's basketball team recorded another big Region 16 win against Jefferson College on Saturday, January 21.  In Saturday's win, the Lady Cardinals took a 32-23 lead into the half.  In the second half, MAC ran away from the Vikings, thanks to a 20 point third quarter and took home a 72-46 win.  

The Lady Cardinals were led by Lexi McCully (21 points), Michell Butler (15 points, 11 rebounds) and Katelyn Chomko (12 points).

With the win over Jefferson, MAC improved to 15-6 overall, 5-1 in Region 16 play and 6-1 in MCCAC play.  The Lady Cardinals will return to action on Wednesday, January 25 when they take on Crowder College at home.  Wednesday's game is scheduled to tip at 5:00pm.
