MAC Takes Down State Fair On Homecoming Night

The MAC women's basketball team picked up a big Region 16 and Homecoming win over State Fair CC on Saturday, February 4.  In Saturday's game, the Lady Cardinals trailed the Lady Roadrunners by a score of 15-12 after one quarter but rebounded nicely in the second quarter to take a 35-27 lead into the half.  In the second half, MAC scored 22 points in the fourth quarter, propelling them 72-60 win.  The Lady Cardinals were led by Lexi McCully (22 points), Katelyn Chomko (21 points) and Michell Butler (11 points, 12 rebounds).

With Saturday's win, MAC improved to 16-8 overall and 6-3 in Region 16 play.  The Lady Cardinals will return to action on Wednesday, February 8 at home vs Crowder College.  Wednesday's game will tip at 2:00pm.
