MAC Falls To Moberly In Region Championship, 3 Cardinals Named All-Region

MAC women's basketball season came to an end in the Region 16 Championship game on Friday, March 10.  Facing #1 seed Moberly in Moberly, MO, the Cardinals played the Greyhounds tight and trailed 48-41 after three quarters.  In the fourth quarter, Moberly found their stride and ran away with a 78-57 win.  In the loss, MAC was led by Lexi McCully (18 points), Gabby Moore (17 points) and Michell Butler (14 points, 11 rebounds).

MAC finished the 2022-2023 season at 22-11 and runner-up in Region 16.  Congratulations to the following Cardinals on being recognized as Region 16 All-Region players:
