MAC Women Get Two Wins At Moberly, Improve to 3-0

The MAC women's basketball team continued to roll to at the Moberly Area CC Classic on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4.  

On Friday, the Cardinals defeated Lincoln Trail College by a score of 75-36.  In Friday's win, MAC was paced in scoring by Telia Graham, who finished with 15 points.  Also scoring in double figures for the Cardinals were Remi Langmaid (13 points), Jaelah Clayton (10 points) and Audra Pasakarnis (10 points).  With the win, MAC improved to 2-0 on the season.

To wrap up the weekend Classic, the Cardinals took on Vincennes University.  In the game against the Trailblazers, MAC took a 43-39 lead into the half.  In the second half, the Cardinals used a 27 point fourth quarter to secure a 85-74 win.  Leading the way for MAC were Remi Langmaid (26 points) and Katelyn Chomko (20 points).  Also tallying double figure scoring were Telia Graham (13 points) and Ashley Buragas (10 points).  Graham also pulled down 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.

Win the wins at Moberly, MAC improved to 3-0 on the young season.  The Cardinals will return to action on Wednesday, November 8 at Southwestern Illinois College.
