Briley Palmer Accepts Head Coaching Position At SEMO

Mineral Area College Head Women's Basketball Coach Briley Palmer has resigned and accepted the head women's basketball coaching position at Southeast Missouri State University.  Coach Palmer spent 12 seasons at Mineral Area, eight as an assistant coach and the four as the head coach.  As head coach, she was able to accumulate an overall record of 77-40 and finished as Region 16 Runner-Up in 2022-2023.  The Lady Cardinals captured two Region 16 Championships while Palmer was an assistant under Gary Koch (2014-15 and 2016-17).
