Women's Soccer Starts Season Strong
The Cardinals kicked off their season strong with back-to-back shutout wins on the road. They edged Elgin Community College 1-0 on August 21 before demolishing Triton College 5-0 two days later. Returning home, Mineral Area continued their winning ways by shutting out Southeastern Community College (4-0) and East Mississippi Community College (4-0) in consecutive games.
However, September has brought more challenges. The Cardinals battled Meridian Community College to a 1-1 draw before suffering a tough 11-0 loss to Northwest Mississippi Community College.
