#18 MAC Goes 2-1 at Cardinal Classic
The 18th ranked Mineral Area College volleyball team hosted the Cardinal Classic on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15. On Friday, the Cardinals took on Vincennes University in their first match of the tournament, defeating the Trailblazers in straight sets. (25-22,25-18,25-22) On Saturday, MAC defeated Barton CC 3-1 in their first match of the day. (25-17,25-20,23-25,25-19) To wrap up the classic, the Cardinals faced a difficult test against #3 ranked Indian Hills CC, with Indian Hills taking the match in straight sets against.(25-10,25-17,25-16)

With the 2-1 mark over the weekend, MAC improved to 21-7 overall, 2-1 in Region 16 play and 4-1 in MCCAC play. The Cardinals will return to action on Wednesday, October 19 against #8 MSU-West Plains to wrap up Region 16 play. Wednesday's match will start at 6:30pm.
