Women's XC Finishes 3rd At Prairie Star Meet

The Mineral Area Cardinals Cross Country teams competed in Springfield, Illinois on Friday, September 9th in the 6 team UIS Prairie Star Invitational. Both MAC teams finished 3rd, trailing only NCAA Division 2 schools Purdue Northwest and the host school Illinois-SpringfieldFreshman Riley Petsch again led the Lady Cardinals to another strong team finish, placing 12^th in the 5-kilometer race in a time of 20:29.  Complete results for the MAC runners were:
